What is Phenolic Plywood?

Phenolic plywood uses phenolic glue surface and has super bonding strength after two pressing molding technology. It comprehensively improves the smoothness, waterproofness and wear resistance of phenolic plywood. The core of the board is all first-class large materials, with uniform thickness, clear texture and high turnover.

The characteristics of phenolic plywood are:

1. No deformation, no cracking, good water resistance, fire retardant, long service life, and can be repeatedly used for more than 8-15 times in building construction projects.

2. Wear-resistant, strong and durable, and each process is checked layer by layer.

3. Easy to glue film, strong impregnation and peeling performance.

4. Good weather resistance, high strength, easy maintenance.

5. Corrosion resistance, no pollution to the building surface.

6. For concrete walls, the surface of the cast objects is smooth and beautiful, minus the wall plastering process, reducing the construction period by 40%.

7. Can be used as a curved plane template.

Phenolic plywood is a plywood produced in which the glued veneers are aged while the glue maintains its fluidity. The glue is then pre-pressed to dehydrate the glue and achieve initial bonding between adjacent veneers. In subsequent operations, the assembled veneers can be arranged neatly to avoid displacement.
